Big Dates in February

Happy Birthday to Melanie on the 2nd, Madeleine on the 6th, and Mike on the 18th. Mom and Dad have a big (45th) anniversary this year on the 8th. And Tyler and Kim will be celebrating a big happy birthday for their little girl who will be born on the 5th. Yay! We're so excited to meet a new member of the family! And don't forget, Valentine's is on the 14th, so do something fun!

From Todd!

This past week I have been here in Rexburg, Idaho. It's been a blast. I even got to see it snow...SNOW! I miss it. One of the days while here in Idaho, I got to go to the Rexburg Temple Open House and it is so beautiful...it's amazing! I took Brittni bowling and since Amber has been working and going to school; I took her lunch two days in a row. It was nice. Because Amber is getting good at cutting hair, I let her cut my hair as well. She did a marvelous job. I'll be back in Oregon on Tuesday. For those of you who knew Jeanette Costelloe, Emma's Grandma, she passed away this morning at 10:58am according to Emma. No word yet on when the services will be. Keep Emma in your prayers.

Baby Hill Ultrasound

We went in for our ultrasound this evening. If you turn your head sideways and look close you can see the eye sockets and where the nose and mouth are. We found out we are having a healthy baby. The due date is right on and everything looks good. We will all have to wait until it's born to find out if it's a boy or a girl. We haven't discussed names, so if there's any suggestions they are welcome.

Get Recipes to Melanie!

Melanie wants to remind everybody to get recipes to her. Right now she doesn't have enough to make a book, so she will just make copies and send them to whoever contributed.

Update from Melanie!

We had a good Christmas, spent it at home. Chris's family was going to come, but at the last minute were unable to. It was nice to have a Christmas alone. It was fun to have a day to just spend with the kids and play with their new things. Kept them entertained for a while. Chris's contract with Walgreens is officially up. One thing we can celebrate. The problem is that no one in town is hiring at the moment. So we are stuck. He has received 2 job offers elsewhere and we are trying to decide where to go. The housing market is down, so we don't know how we will manage to sell our house. Josh is loving first grade. He is doing really well in reading and math. His teacher wants to start him on multiplication when he goes back from Christmas break. Kailyn will be 3 next month. She loves dancing. Thinking of putting her in some dance classes this coming year. She loves playing dress up. Thanks to the after Halloween clearance, she has a few disney princess dresses to wear. Which she loves to wear. I have just been staying home with the kids. I am working on couponing. It's fun to see where you can save money.
