Funny thing Sydney said...

So, last night I was getting Sydney to bed. She listens to music to help her fall asleep. I asked her what she was going to listen to. She said, "I'm going to lock in Princess songs!" Do you think we watch too many game shows at our house? Yes! We're addicted to Deal or No Deal and Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader (which is where she learned to lock in her answer). Sometimes we watch Don't Forget the Lyrics and they have to "lock in those lyrics"!

Yay Heather!

Heather’s basketball team finished their conference undefeated. The Warriors pulled out a 52-47 win against their biggest rivals in the last game of the season. Only a minute and a half into the game, one of our starters went to the hospital with a dislocated shoulder. Heather was put in to take her place and did a great job. The coach was really proud of her. He told us that Heather really “stepped up” for the team. Yay Heather!

Heather is a rockin' basketball star!

Heather’s freshmen basketball team is still undefeated in their conference. Her last home game is tonight with two away games next week. Their biggest win so far was against McNary 80-17. the local paper claimed that as a team, the Warriors average 60 points per game while allowing an average of 27 points per game. Their only defeat was a two-point loss in a non-league game they played against South Salem’s Junior Varsity. Heather plays point guard.
