Guess what we got for Christmas!
We have pink eye going through our house! When we got home from dinner on Christmas Eve Dallin had some boogies in one eye. Jared thought Dallin rubbed some snot up into his eye at first. A few minutes later he realized it is coming out of his eye. Dallin woke up Christmas morning and couldn't open his eyes. They were crusted over and swollen. We had to get him in the shower to soften it up and get his eyes open. So miserable! We called Dr. Lytle and asked him what we should do. He said to put a warm washcloth on it and if it gets worse bring him in to the clinic on Friday. Well, Friday Dallin woke up and his eyes looked so much better, so we didn't take him in. Later in the afternoon his eyes started gooping up again. We got them cleared out and Jared decided he shouldn't go ice fishing in the morning in case we need to take Dallin in to the clinic. We ended up taking him in and getting some eye drops. Dr. Hogenson gave us a refill in case anybody else gets it. We decided Jared would take Sydney to sacrament today and she would stay for primary. Jared came home after sacrament meeting so I could go teach Primary. I got a video for my class. It was the quietest they have ever been. When we were on our way to singing time Sydney came up to me in the hall on her way to class. She had a goopy eye! Great. We came home and got some drops in it. Then Garrison went down for a nap and woke up. Jared brought him into me and showed me his eye. More goop and more drops! Thank goodness we can get them refilled because we are going to need it! Hopefully Jared and I won't get it. Hogenson said usually the parent taking care of the child gets it too. It's so contagious. Jared took care of Dallin for the most part. We've both been taking care of Sydney and I take care of Garrison. We're bound to get it. Hope you don't!

That is terrible. Especially on Christmas. I had it once really bad, and hope that I never get it again. Hopefully, it will go away soon. Take care.
My kids have had that several time throughout the years. We have never had it in the house where all the kids did not get it. It is awful, which you now know.
