no school today

There is no school today again. The school district expects us to go back to school on Monday. The roads are drivable now and it is warming up. They are concerned about opening the schools due to a shortage of natural gas around the state. We are not affected but the towns around us (Bernalillo, Albuquerque) have people without natural gas to heat their homes. Shelters are being set up for those who need a safe, warm place to go. Hotels are advertising low rates for people who need a warm place to be. The city and schools are shutting down schools and office buildings so the natural gas can be used for residential use. I do have to go grocery shopping today which won't be too bad. The kids are excited to have yet another day off from school. I am thankful we have everything we need.
